Confirm the isolator near the outdoor unit is on and the unit is plugged in or switched at the switchboard.

Look for a tripped breaker labelled aircon or the outdoor unit, and reset it once.

Thermostat or remote
Fresh batteries, cooling mode, temperature set below room temperature.

Filter
Slide out the indoor filter and hold it to the light. If you can't see through it, clean it and try again.
If the breaker trips again the moment you reset it, stop there. A repeated trip means a fault that needs a licensed eye, and forcing it back on only makes things worse.
